Luke Sings in Chapel

Luke sang in chapel this week!! He is the tall kid on the far right if you couldn't tell. He is singing I'm in the Lord's Army. He really enjoys singing at school.

My Surgery

Well, I didn't tell like anyone that I was going to be having this procedure done, but here is a brief summary. I have had a small bump on my neck since H.S. and over the years it has slowly gotten bigger. It never really bothered me, it didn't hurt, but I was not liking how big it was getting. I had never asked a Dr. about it, so I thought since I had already met my deductible this year I could look into it more. The doctor sent me to a surgeon, who then informed me that this is more than likely a sebaceous cyst, no big deal. He did tell me that people that get these tend to have them for a number of years with no discomfort, but he really felt that it would be to my benefit to remove it. Due to the climate down here I was running a higher risk of it becoming infected and that would be pretty bad. So today at 10:45a.m. I had a minor out patient surgery to have it removed. It was on the base of my neck so hopefully the scar will be hidden by my long golden locks. I have 3 heavy duty stitches and derma bond. Now that the numbness has worn off it is starting to feel pretty awesome...not so much.

The many faces of Anna

Well, she definately has many faces...the Anna that is studious at her desk, the Anna that makes crazy faces, the Anna just kicking it in her new pink recliner, and the Anna that hangs out on the driveway waiting for her brothers to come home. She keeps me on my toes, but I wouldn't trade the many faces of Anna for anything!

Anna's New Curtains

Here are the new curtains we got for Anna's room...we got them from IKEA. I love that store. These are so cute with the color choices, rick-rack edging, felt flowers and dots and red stiching that twirls around the panels making swirls and hearts. Anna is pretty in love with them too, now I just need to hem them, if only I had someone to help me.

Sleeping Arrangements...

This is how I find Luke and Noah every evening before I go to bed. They have two sets of bunk beds in their room which equals 4 beds to choose from. But this is what they choose...someday they are not going to fit in that bed by themself let alone with the brother in there. For now I think it is pretty cool, that two brothers can pick at each other all day and then when the day is done sleep in the same bed...I love my boys!

Anna is in Pre-K...hooray!!

Today was Anna's first day in Pre-K3. She goes 3 days a week in the morning...her teacher is Mrs. Lee Ann Moore. We love Mrs. Moore!! She had a great time at "school", she thinks she is in first grade like Lukey. She is also getting so big, I wish you all could hear how much she talks and the way she words things. Tate pulled a king kong on Anna's pet spider and tore down her house of red electrical tape. Anna wasn't too upset, she told me God would take care of Charolette.
